"Search Me, O God"

Psalm 139

We Americans like our privacy. We even have privacy laws. But God disturbs our privacy and we don't like that. We don't want to be known. We want to know God, but we don't want to be known by God because to be fully known by someone is, in a real sense, to be under the control of that person. But here is David praying, "Search me, O God, and know my thoughts..." It's the only way to new life and renewal in this new year. Will you take the risk of praying this prayer?
