Our Christmas Outreach
MWUMC has been busy during this holiday season doing what we do best. The Lord has blessed us with a generous and helpful congregation and we like to give that back to others that may need our help. We were able to reach out to six Mt. Washington families this season that needed a little support. The church family gave a total of 130 wrapped presents to the families, along with food baskets and a Kroger gift card for each household.
MWUMC also has a long standing tradition of doing a “hat and mitten tree” during Christmas. Each year the tree is loaded with warm hats, gloves and scarves that the congregation has given. These gifts of warmth and love are then taken to the Coalition for the Homeless and Faces Without Places in downtown Cincinnati. This is what the Christmas season is all about: sharing the love of Christ by helping others.
