Calling All Children & Youth

Everyone mark your calendars for the following dates to join in some fun, exciting activities these next few months. Please feel free to invite your friends and neighbors to share in the fun:
Saturday, February 11, 2012, we will have “Heart Felt Thanks” from 11 AM – 1 PM. Please come to the church kitchen/fellowship hall where we will be bake cookies and make cards for the area firemen, policemen and caregivers at Arden Court to thank them for the services they provide to our community. We want them to know how very much they are appreciated and how very much God loves them. We will be ordering pizza for lunch so come on out and help with this service project and have some good fellowship.
Sunday, March 11, 2012, 5-7 PM for “March BEACH Madness.” Beat that cabin fever by getting out and playing some volleyball and corn hole. There will be beach music, a box dinner and a craft getting us prepared for Spring and Summer.
Sunday, April 15, 2012, 5-7 PM. “Bunny Hop Dance” Easter Celebration will find us possibly competing for the fanciest Easter Bonnet, and we will have games and of course dancing and crafts.

And it isn’t too early to schedule time for Vacation Bible School. Be thinking about how you will help spread the gospel of Jesus to the children by volunteering on Thursday, June 28 and Friday, June 29 in the PM and Saturday, June 30, 2012 in the AM. More details forthcoming.
